WHAT WE DID
NFN Labs worked with Avalara to design and develop a comprehensive Developer Portal that delivers an exceptional experience for developers working with Avalara's tax automation APIs and services.
The Avalara Developer Portal was designed from the ground up to be a great experience for developers. The component-based interface design, and design systems helped to migrate 2500 screens aided by custom component development. The experience was optimized for both web and responsive / mobile.
The development highlights include the component-based frontend using NextJS, dynamic documentation rendering via Swagger, and the custom-built content-migration tool for the website. The integrations with TerraForm and Salesforce were both seamless and easy to use. The CI/CD process adherence was appreciated by Avalara.
