Moviebuff.com is a product from Qube Cinemas, which offers the most exhaustive database of movie related information to an Indian movie-going audience. It aims to be an end-to-end solution for a variety of users, including, but not limited to, consumers, content creators, exhibitors and affiliates, and serves the role of a one-stop shop for these users, providing information as well as solutions for anything related to the business of movies — consumption, exhibition and content creation.
Moviebuff Access is an app created to enhance the cinematic experience for visually impaired individuals.
WHAT WE DID
NFN Labs worked with the team at Moviebuff to design and develop a mobile app that was accessible to visually impaired users.
The UX and UI of the app was designed after studying a variety of accessibility guidelines like ADA, Section 508, WCAG etc.
The mobile app was build for both Android and iOS using Flutter
The audio streaming functionality of the mobile app was build on top of AudioFetch SDK, that helped stream audio over the AudioFetch Wi-Fi device installed in participating theatres
The Admin app for management of theatres, screens and Wi-Fi passwords was done in Strapi with custom integrations for Qube's APIs to fetch latest theatre information and a dashboard to view and export details
