ValetNYC is an on-demand curbside valet service that simplifies parking and vehicle management in New York City. The platform enables customers to park and retrieve their cars through a convenient valet experience while also supporting Alternate Side Parking (ASP) moves, where vehicles are moved to comply with New York City's street-cleaning parking regulations.
WHAT WE DID
NFN Labs worked with the ValetNYC team on the UX/UI design, development, and enhancement of key features and workflows across the platform.
Our work included:
Creating workflows for transferring vehicle keys between valets at the end of shifts, enabling smoother and more accountable handovers
Building a map-based view that visualises the density of parked cars, helping valets understand vehicle distribution across parking areas
Enabling QR-based communication between guest users and valets
Developing in-app conversations between platform users and valets for easier communication
Working on car retrieval and ASP move workflows.
Implementing OTP-based secure confirmations and notifications for key vehicle-related actions and handovers
Integrating Stripe payments to enable secure and seamless transactions for valet services within the platform
Through these features, NFN Labs helped improve communication, operational coordination and key valet workflows across the ValetNYC platform.
